From the Galapagos to Africa, from Iceland to Hawaii, the husband-and-wife photography team of Carol and Roy Toepke have an eye for nature and a deep-seated desire to help protect it. This April 22nd, they are targeting the Access for All initiative of Friends with a fundraising effort to help one of their favorite places on earth: the Apostle Islands.

Carol and Roy Toepke
“We’re big fans of the Apostle Islands,” says Carol. “We have explored the lighthouses, ventured out to the mainland and Devils Island sea caves and trekked to the ice caves twice.” And they have captured it all in photographs that they are now offering as a fundraising tool for Friends.
“We’re partnering with Friends of the Apostle Islands to raise funds for the Access for All initiative,” Carol says. “As a thank you for your support, we’re offering 20% off any artwork on our website when you sign up for our newsletter. And on April 22nd, 2023, 100% of all profits from artwork sales will go towards the Access for All initiative.”
From high atop the lighthouses to deep in the caves to the northern lights glimmering, the photographs of Carol and Roy Toepke capture all sides of the Apostle Islands.
Prints of their work are created on the finest gallery-quality materials through Bay Photo Lab with sizes up to 48 x 96 inches. You can order these beautiful prints on a variety of surfaces such as Fine Art, Photographic, Acrylic, HD Metal, Canvas, Xposer or Wood Prints and they can also be mounted or framed to your specifications. All of the profits when you order on April 22nd (National Park Day) will go to helping Friends.
Carol and Roy are no strangers to supporting Friends. Through their company Collections by Carol, they have been long-time business members and donated many of their Apostle Islands pieces for use on our website. Giving back to the places they love is in their nature. “As photographers, we record the natural beauty, people, and wildlife of the lakeshore, preserving moments in time for the future. Friends helps to protect those same things for all of us.”
We at Friends thank these two talented photographers for their support and urge you to join them in their April 22nd fundraising campaign. To see their fabulous work and details on how your purchase can support the islands you love, go to their website.
