National Park Friends Alliance acknowledged at Busch Stadium before a St. Louis Cardinals versus Cincinnati Reds baseball game
From a shout out on the Jumbo Tron at Busch Stadium to in-depth discussions about the future of Friends groups in the current National Park political climate, the Annual National Park Friends Alliance conference in St. Louis, Missouri was a great success. Friends Co-Directors Jeff and Jill Rennicke represented Friends of the Apostle Islands at the national conference with Jeff presenting as part of a panel on the importance of Corporate Sponsorships.
“This is an all-hands-on-deck moment for our national parks,” Rennicke told the audience. “From individual members to volunteers, to business members and corporate sponsors, there has never been a more important time to support the parks we love through engagement with groups like Friends of the Apostle Islands.” Rennicke joined other panelists from Southwest Airlines, Edward Jones, Bank of America, and the National Park Foundation in stressing ways for all of us to work together.
