Gift of Stock

You may donate long-term appreciated securities, including stocks, bonds, and mutual funds, directly to the Friends. Using this method, you may be able to automatically increase your gift and your tax deduction as opposed to donating cash, or selling your appreciated securities and contributing the after-tax proceeds.

To make a gift of stock, please complete this form and provide it to your stockbroker or financial advisor. It’s helpful if you let the Friends know this gift is coming by contacting us at 715-449-6900 or info@friendsoftheapostleislands.org

Donor Advised Funds

Make Friends a part of your giving plan by working with your financial advisor to establish a donor-advised fund, or DAF. This is a giving process established at a public charity and allows charitable contributions. With a DAF, you will receive an immediate tax deduction and then, in conjunction with your financial advisor, recommend grants from the fund over time.

By using the widget you will be directed to your financial institution. Select Friends of the Apostle Islands as your directed charity. Select the amount and you are all set. If your fund is not listed in the widget, simply choose “other” and type in Friends of the Apostle Islands as the charity of choice when directing a donation. If you have questions along the way, please email info@friendsoftheapostleislands.org

Above all, you will have the satisfaction of helping to sustain the natural jewels that are the Apostle Islands.

Making the Most of your Gift:

Friends wants every dollar of your donation to work hard for the park you love.
