Donor Advised Funds

Make Friends a part of your giving plan by working with your financial advisor to establish a donor-advised fund, or DAF. This is a giving process established at a public charity and allows charitable contributions. With a DAF, you will receive an immediate tax deduction and then, in conjunction with your financial advisor, recommend grants from the fund over time.

By using the widget you will be directed to your financial institution. Select Friends of the Apostle Islands as your directed charity. Select the amount and you are all set. If your fund is not listed in the widget, simply choose “other” and type in Friends of the Apostle Islands as the charity of choice when directing a donation. If you have questions along the way, please email
